We know that the INTERNET does not belong to anybody.Anyone can join this net and get the information that is available.Similarly,anyone can add information to this network.Hence,we cannot be sure that the information is original.
World wide web or the WWW is a system that enables you to access information stored in computers connected to the INTERNET.The web consists of millions of websites.These are divided into pages called WEBPAGES.It is the WEBPAGES that actually hold the information we are talking of.
How can we go about making a webpage that others can see?This process of making a webpage is called WEBPAGE DESIGNING.
There are two ways to go about WEBPAGE DESIGNING.
1.Use a WEBPAGE AUTHORING SOFTWARE.This software is just like using MS WORD to design and print a document.Many such software package are available such as PAGEMILL,FRONTPAGE and DREAMWEAVER.
2.Use HTML(HYPER TEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE)to make your own page.
